Call for Presenters: 2nd Annual Middle School STEAM Unfiltered Conference
The BVYLA Middle School Cohort is now accepting proposals from STEM professionals and high school/college STEM students interested in presenting at the 2nd Annual Middle School STEAM Unfiltered Conference at WPI on March 12, 2026, from 3:30–6:30 PM.

We are seeking engaging, age-appropriate sessions that help demystify STEAM pathways for students in grades 5–8 across Worcester County, including:

Interactive, hands-on workshops or demos

Short talks or mini-sessions about your work, projects, or career journey

Participation in a student-moderated career panel

STEAM Unfiltered is a student-led initiative by the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation in partnership with the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) that brings middle school students face-to-face with real-world STEAM careers. Designed to amplify youth voice, the event empowers students not only to explore STEAM pathways but to lead the conversation.
