Internships and Innovation Pathways

Blackstone Valley Education Foundation is building new, engaging ways to interact with schools and business as we rapidly expand the Internship and Innovation Pathways programs!

In the coming year, we are bringing the internship community closer together. The Foundation is excited about what this looks like for us, you, and for the students we serve.

The inaugural meeting with School Internship Coordinators took place virtually in November. Educators collaborated with one another and BVEF consultants to enhance the current programming currently available to students. Together, we are making significant progress towards improving and elevating the internship program throughout the Blackstone Valley and beyond. Earlier in the month, Internship Consultant, Tom Belland, highlighted some of the new opportunities for students, during a field trip to the Foundation, Chamber, and Hub offices. During this visit, seniors from Grafton High School toured the Hub, learned about post-secondary options as well as internship opportunities at Access TCA.

The Foundation is also proud to announce

our emerging partnership with Access TCA, located in Whitinsville. In the coming months, Access will begin hosting students for Internships. Mike from Access told us, “We build compelling brand engagements for our clients through exceptional service. We build bright futures for students through mentorships and intern programs. We support our community, because together, we can build anything.

In the coming months, the Foundation will be coordinating additional informative and interactive meetings with schools as well as local companies who currently host or would like to host interns. If your school or company would like to participate or is interested in learning more about internship opportunities, please contact Tom Belland at tbelland@bveducationfoundation.org .
